Google Maps
I used Google Maps to locate Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. I would use Google Maps in my classroom to show student where exact locations of key cities are, to tell how far away a location is, and to view the cities themselves with the 'Google Earth' function. Students will be able to use Google Maps as well.

Quizlet
Quizlet is a resource I already use and will continue to use it in my classroom. Quizlet allows for students and teachers to teach and learn vocabulary by creating flashcards. On Quizlet you can use the vocabulary as flashcards, speller, scatter, and be tested on the words. Quizlet is assessable on any device that has internet, so students can access Quizlet at school and home. Below I have begun my Beginning Geography flashcards.

Scribble Maps
Scribble Maps is a fun resource students can use to create maps. Students can decorate and customize maps that they can eventually share. Scribble Maps also allows you to create your own key, all on the internet. Scribble Maps would be a fun resource to use as a extra credit opportunity.
